Daemen College Merit Scholarships 2024-2025 : Daemen College overseas Merit Scholarships: In an effort to draw students with exceptional academic credentials, Daemen College offers merit scholarships to overseas students enrolled full-time (or part-time in some circumstances) in its US campus. Both graduates and undergrads enrolled full- or part-time in Daemen may be eligible for these grants.

Based on academic achievement, first-year and transfer students are awarded the President’s Scholarship each year; awards can range from $12,500 for first-year recipients to $9000 for transfer recipients. Many awards are also renewable provided that the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 QPA and is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate.

Every year, the President’s Award is given out in accordance with academic achievement. Students in their first year of college might win up to $12,500, while transfer students could receive $9,000. Certain scholarships may even be renewed every year as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 QPA (quality point average) while enrolled full-time in college.

In 1947, the Sisters of St. Francis founded Daemen College in Amherst, New York, under the name Rosary Hill College. Later that year, the college changed its name to Daemen College. After being a Catholic women-only institution for a while, it became coed in 1971 and later changed its name once more to Daemen. The college remained true to its commitment to the local community by growing its academic offerings and remaining true to itself as it established itself as one institution of distinctive character with deep, enviable involvement within its academic scene. Daemen College Merit Scholarships 2024-2025 Eligibility Criteria:

For consideration of Daemen College Merit awards, applicants will need to fulfill one or all of these eligibility criteria:

  • An applicant for this scholarship must either be from within the US or internationally and currently enrolling at a university to take either their undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Apply for scholarships related to first years of studies if available (applicable for certain but not all scholarships). Candidates must hold either an equivalent high school certificate or high school diploma to be admitted to this program.
  • Daemen College requires proof that candidates meet its minimum English language prerequisites for language proficiency before being admitted (though exceptions may be considered). A waiver may also be granted.
