P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship 2024: Female applicants who meet all conditions to apply for this year’s PEO International Peace Scholarship 2024-2025 and intend to enroll in full-time graduate programs in Canada or the US have been accepted by the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship for International Students. The deadline for applying for this prize is October 1, 2023.
PEO is a nonprofit group that promotes the rights of women. Through prizes, grants, loans, and scholarships to Cottey College for women who graduate and are helped in achieving their objectives.
Awards are based on demonstrated need; nevertheless, they do not cover all costs associated with school or life in general. When submitting a scholarship application, candidates must also include any additional funding they may have, such as tuition waivers from family or personal sources, work-study opportunities, teaching assistantships, or study grants from employers, as well as any awards they may have won. Of these, tuition waivers from family sources, working scholarships, teaching assistantships, and study grants from authorities are the most frequent sources.
The first PEO International Peace Scholarship was awarded in 1949 to women from nations other than the US and Canada, as well as Canadian students studying in the US. Since then, this scholarship has been extended to include women from both countries, helping them to pursue degrees in a variety of subjects, including engineering, law, medicine, and other professions.

P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship 2024-2025 Benefits:
- PEO International Peace Scholarship 2023 Award provides financial support for female students seeking master’s studies within Canada or both the United States and Canada.
- The award provides financial aid in terms of tuition fees, books, and living costs over an academic year. Furthermore, in addition to this monetary support, the scholarship provides opportunities for professional and personal development through networking events as well as coaching on leadership skills.

P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship 2024-2025 Eligibility criteria:
- E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund provides assistance to women living outside of North America seeking advanced degrees at accredited U.S. or Canadian institutions with an eye towards using that experience to build global peace.
- To qualify for her first scholarship, candidates must complete one academic semester left of her program, enroll in school as an in-district resident student, and remain at that address throughout her study time at school.
- Doctoral students who have already completed courses and are only working on dissertations do not qualify as first-time applicants, though international students attending Cottey College are eligible for grants to cover living costs.
- Students who are permanent citizens or residents of either Canada or the US are not ineligible. Note: Only students fulfilling tax residency requirements will be accepted as eligible candidates.
- No scholarships exist for research, online classes, and internships that do not connect directly with formal coursework; nor for practical education that does not fall within formal coursework requirements.
Application Procedure For P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship 2024-2025:
- Sign in at P.E.O. International’s website and create an account. Submit an online application form as well as submit all required documentation such as transcripts of academic studies, letters of reference, and an SOP for review.
- All applications should be submitted before December 15, 2023, to meet the application deadline, which will then lead to private interviews if chosen for further consideration.
