Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024-25 Fully Funded: A fully financed fellowship is available through the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024–25 to international participants who are genuine proponents of peace and who also endeavor to advance it. Up to 90 people who demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities receive the Rotary scholarship each year. These Rotary honors for overseas students serve as a testament to the students’ commitment to leadership and their potential to impact positive change by acting as powerful peacemakers. The students in this fully funded scholarship are given the greatest tools and training to help them become powerful peace ambassadors and highly successful professionals.
In order to bring together potential change agents from all around the world and give them access to cutting-edge global networking opportunities, the Rotary Peace Scholarship Program was established. The Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1500 fellows from all around the world to carry out their objective. Since 2022, the peace fellowship has been effectively reaching its goals of developing the leadership skills of those involved in peace and development. However, since 1917, the Rotary Foundation has actively promoted nonviolent change in the world. The Rotary Foundation established the seeds for an age that is the foundation of the leading humanitarian organization in the world with the motto “Doing Good in the World”.
The Rotary Foundation Fellowship Awards are unique in that they are split into two categories to accommodate the most deserving and qualified applicants without any ambiguity. One is the Rotary Fellowships for the professional development certificate program, and the other is the Rotary Scholarships for master’s students. The emphasis is still on problems related to peace and development in both programs. The most knowledgeable teachers in the world with regard to research train the accepted students. Furthermore, students join a broad learning community through networking with alumni. Similar to this, the professionals who join this Rotary Peace program collaborate with top-tier experts and gain useful skills through this one-year blended program.
The Rotary Peace Fellowships program is focused on bringing about change at the grassroots level. The Rotary Foundation views peace as a fundamental aspect of life and a cornerstone of human advancement rather than just a theoretical idea. The fully-funded foreign fellowship opportunity has been made available in order to achieve the desired results, and participants in this program are introduced to the avenues of action that have the potential to leave a lasting impression on the globe. Additionally, it is taken into account that if people can coexist peacefully locally, this will have repercussions on a global scale. Additionally, Rotary Peace Center Alumni are employed in nearly every productive sector, including NGOs, the media, research organizations, education, governmental organizations, law enforcement and military organizations, multilateral organizations, and the arts. Eligibility Criteria of Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2024-25
- The candidates must be proficient in English.
- The candidates must have an extraordinary record of building projects.
- The candidates must be able to exhibit their academic achievements as well as the record of personal or community service.
- The students who are pursuing for master’s degree must have completed their bachelor’s degree.
- For master’s students, at least three years of relevant experience is required starting from the date of their most recent degree to the start of the fellowship program.
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs are not eligible.
- The candidates who are applying for the certificate program must have fulfilled all the above requirements, however, the experience required for these candidates is of five years.
- The certificate candidates must be able to explain their plan of action.
- Candidates with disability are encouraged to apply.
- The candidates who have attended a certificate program or a global grant scholarship must have a three-year gap before applying for a master’s under this fellowship.
- Active Rotary members, employees of the Rotary Club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entities are ineligible.
How to Apply for Rotary Fellowship 2024
- The candidates have to submit their applications to the Rotary Foundation online.
- Provide all the relevant documents.
- Submit your endorsement online from the fellowship subcommittee till 1st July.
- The confirmation of receiving the endorsement and application will be sent.
