The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars seeks to bring together the domains of policy and thought by advancing outstanding scholarship and tying it to issues that Washington’s decision-makers find relevant.

The Center offers nine-month housing fellowships via an international competition. The Wilson Center’s global fellowship program is open to academics, professionals, journalists, and government intellectuals. While interacting with Wilson Center staff, other resident academics, and policy makers in Washington, D.C., fellows conduct research and write in their areas of interest. The Center accepts proposals for fellowships that address significant issues facing the US and the rest of the world and are relevant to policy but do not involve advocacy.
